Piping Lead Man (Raleigh and Wilmington)

Supports our industrial/commercial retrofit department by installing HVAC equipment and piping systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
Competent with various welding techniques
Ability to layout and fabricate various piping systems
Provide instruction to Helpers if needed
Ability to pre-plan and schedule work processes
Interprets drawings related to the job
Assists other team members with job duties as necessary
Supervise/lead others
Ability to travel to the customer locations
Ability to work weekends and/or evenings as necessary

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5+ years related experience as a lead man; 2 years of trade school in welding or equivalent training is preferred.
