Donald Brady, founder of Brady, has donated $100,000 to the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Foundation to fund the Donald Brady Endowed Scholarship.

The Donald Brady Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate mechanical or architectural engineering student enrolled at one of the following institutions: North Carolina State University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, or East Carolina University.

In addition to a scholarship, the selected candidate will be awarded an internship opportunity with Brady in the company’s Greensboro, Raleigh or Wilmington, NC office.

Don Brady understands the need to prepare future generations for technical service careers, and is committed to supporting education that trains the technicians needed to support our local communities. He cites excellent technical education as a key factor in the growth of Brady, the North Carolina-based building and technical solutions company that he founded.

“As a member of the ASHRAE since 1958, I am proud to continue my support of the impressive work this organization continues to do to support our industry. I am happy to know that, through this endowment, future technicians will be well equipped for a profitable career in the HVAC industry.” said Don Brady in a recent statement.
