GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 30, 2016)– Brady, a company that provides energy-efficient HVAC systems and comprehensive building solutions for commercial and industrial facilities across North Carolina, recently awarded the annual Mike Bradley Memorial Scholarship to Rocky Damico, a student at Carteret Community College.

Damico received a $1000 scholarship to assist in funding his education in the boat manufacturing program at Carteret Community College.

Established by the Association of Community College Facility Operations in 2014, the Bradley Memorial Scholarship was named in honor of Mike Bradley by his long-time employer Brady Services. Bradley served as an outspoken supporter of and advocate for ACCFO. In his honor, Brady Services funded the annual scholarship to be given to students at a member college pursuing a degree in automotive, air conditioning, heating and refrigeration or industrial technologies through the ACCFO organization.

ACCFO members are employed as maintenance directors, managers, supervisors, physical plant managers and foremen employed by North Carolina Community Colleges to oversee physical plant operations and buildings and grounds maintenance.

Carteret Community College is an accredited community college serving Carteret and surrounding counties in North Carolina. Approximately 1,900 students are enrolled in college credit courses and more than 4,500 students are enrolled in short-term, non-credit learning opportunities. For more information, visit
