In 2008 Jim Brady stepped into the role of President of Brady, a title previously held by Don Brady. Jim had seventeen years of experience in the HVAC industry, and held such titles as, Vice President and General Manager. Prior to joining Brady, he worked in the banking industry for five years after graduating from Wake Forest University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and minored in Spanish. Jim is currently involved with the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro.
Don Brady grew up in a Niagara Falls, NY. After serving in the US Army, Don worked for Ingersoll Rand. Don Brady started Brady in 1962 in Greensboro, NC, where it is now headquartered with three offices and six retail stores throughout the state. In 2008 Don was named Chairman of Brady. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and completed The Executive Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Don is active in the education community with various boards and committees, and was the recipient of the Nathanael Greene Award for Outstanding Contributions to Community Enrichment. Don lives in Greensboro with his wife Mary Gay and enjoys spending time five children and fourteen grandchildren.
In 2014 Brad joined Brady as Vice President of Direct Sales. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is a graduate of Purdue University where he earned a B.A. in Secondary Education and Teaching. In 2017 Brad was named President and Chief Operating Officer for Brady Services. Prior to joining Brady, Brad worked in marketing and sales leadership roles for a large petroleum equipment manufacturer for fifteen years. Brad is on Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro’s Board of Directors, and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and traveling.
Brian joined the Brady Family of Companies in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Duke University and brings with him over 30 years of executive leadership in financial services. Before joining Brady, Brian has held key leadership roles with companies such as Wachovia Corporation and CommunityOne Bank. He is a Greensboro native with strong ties to Duke University and the Charlotte banking communities.
Al began his career at Brady in 1969 as an Account Manager. Al moved into sales management and in 2014 Al was named Vice President of Indirect Sales. Prior to joining Brady Al served in the U.S. Army and attended North Carolina State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering.
With over a decade of experience as a leader in the security industry and two years as a leader in the Brady organization, Aaron Hughes was named Vice President of Direct Sales for Brady in 2017. With his experience as a technology integrator, Aaron is an expert at “connecting the dots” to create the smart and connected buildings of the future as it relates to our customers’ HVAC, controls, and energy services. Aaron enjoys developing people and inspiring high-performance teams and cultures – to make sure Brady continues to solve problems faster and more efficiently than anyone in the region.
Jaclyn joined Brady in 2017 as the Director of Marketing. She brings over 10 years of experience in building and supporting brands to the table as she leads the corporate Marketing strategy for Brady Services. Prior to joining Brady, Jaclyn served in a similar capacity for another family owned enterprise in NC. Her work has been recognized by CEB and Specialty Retail Magazine.
After more than 7 years in design engineering and sales with Brady, Raynor is now Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Building Clarity. One key to Raynor’s success is his constant focus on our customers and their need for ROI. His expertise as a design engineer and contractor make it easy for Raynor to identify energy conservation measures, utility rebates, tax incentives and finance vehicles that satisfy building owners’ specific economic criteria. Outcomes typically include increased net asset value, positive cash flow improvement, and increased quality of the indoor environment. As COO, Raynor brings a new level of financial and operational benefits to our company and our customers. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and has more than 2 decades of electrical design, energy savings performance, and operations management experience.
Matt joined the Brady team in 2018 as the Vice President of IT. He began his career in the Army, where he served as an IT Analyst in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After 6 years of service he transitioned from engineering to leadership roles in the IT space. He has a degree in Computer Information Systems, as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with family, being outdoors, hiking, and mountain biking.
Joanna joined Brady in 2018 as Vice President of Human Development, bringing with her over 15 years’ experience in the Human Resources field. She has extensive experience with high-growth operations, organization restructuring, and managing the broad scope of HR operations, in addition to developing and implementing human resources departments for emerging companies. She is a North Carolina native and UNCG Alumna. Her favorite thing to do outside of work is being with her husband and children, watching them play baseball and soccer.
