Phenomenal Aire’s Cold Plasma Generator (CPG) units destroy bacteria and mold and produces ions essential to healthy living. When the device is placed inside a HVAC system it creates a plasma field within the unit. As air flows through the air molecules are charged and create ions. The positive and negative ions naturally scrub the passing air before traveling into the building where they safely kill mold, viruses, and bacteria.

What’s that smell?
Have you ever received complaints about an unpleasant odor when switching from heating to cooling or from cooling to heating? If so, your HVAC system is probably suffering from what is known as ‘Dirty Sock Syndrome’ or DSS.
DSS is caused by bacteria that collects and grows on the coils of heat pumps and air conditioners. Odors occur when heat pumps go into defrost or when systems operate in heating mode for a limited period of time and then switched back to cooling mode. The bacteria in the system grows on the coil during the heating cycle and odors are released into the building when the indoor coil gets cool and damp.
