This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental elements associated with air conditioning. Course work will include, the refrigeration cycle, psychrometrics, system sizing and a short introduction to building automation. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to describe the basic refrigeration cycle, fundamental psychrometric analysis, basic sizing practices, and the elements of a building automation system.
