Brady Dedicates Second Habitat Home in Greensboro
On Saturday, May 14th, Brady Associates and key community leaders gathered to dedicate the second Habitat for Humanity House sponsored by late founder and chairman Don Brady and his wife, Mary Gay. While the Brady family covered construction costs, Brady Associates participated in building the home alongside other organizations and the family that will now own the home.
The house is located in the White Oaks Heights neighborhood and will be home to Isayris Vasquez and daughters, Trinity and Milani in the upcoming weeks. It is a part of Habitat for Humanity’s larger campaign project, Raising Roofs, which collaborates with the Greensboro Builders Association that has built 60 homes with Habitat Greensboro since 2003.
Speaking on behalf of the Brady family, Sean Farley, grandson of Don Brady, shared his blessings for the Vasquez family. (see video below)
Brad Resler, Brady’s President and Chief Operating Officer, and Habitat board member was at the dedication and offered these words,
“Mr. Brady was proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission through his giving and community leadership. Today we celebrate his legacy as we dedicate this home and bless the family who will live here.”
